Well...my replacement Elizabeth came yesterday. She's gorgeous. Her wig is on straight, and her face has lots more color than the other one. However, her body is stuffed unevenly. I'll have to fix it.

I was hoping I wouldn't like her...but I do. I think she's beautiful. Enough that I think I can ignore the fact that she looks nothing like Elizabeth is supposed to look.

Im glad your new doll is fixed! I had purchased 2 Elizabeths also " bought one off ebay before I knew they were available on the AG website" and one of them that came the wig looks crooked and her face almost looks larger than the other one... funny how the same doll can look so different! Don't feel bad. I am on my second soon to be third Elizabeth. The first arrived with green on her face from the book rubbing around while she was shipped. The second arrived yesterday and one of her pin curls was off her head and laying loose in the box. Her head was crooked and she was stuffed weirdly also. Looked like a linebacker. Hopefully three is a charm. If not, I guess they will have to keep sending them until they get it right. I hate to give all of these dolls to the Madison sale, but for the price of this doll she should be perfect.

Congratulations on your perfect Elizabeth. She's a lovely one isn't she. It's a bitty the first one you received had wig problems.

    Enjoy her!
